Oak Park police arrested a Chicago man on multiple felony charges in connection with an alleged attack on an Oak Park officer.
Police arrested the 49-year-old shortly after 9:45 a.m. June 1 on charges of theft and aggravated assault on a peace officer, according to police records. The man’s victims were an Oak Park officer and an Oak Brook resident, according to police records.
Home invasion arrest
Oak Park police arrested a man on home invasion charges in connection with multiple violent domestic incidents.
Police arrested the 28-year-old Skokie man in the 300 block of North Oak Park Avenue shortly before 3:40 a.m. May 30 on charges of aggravated domestic battery and home invasion, according to police records.
The man was charged in connection with an incident on May 30, as well as another domestic battery incident that occurred on Feb.22, according to police records.
Property damage
Oak Park police are investigating a property damage incident from last week.
An unknown suspect reportedly caused thousands in damage to a car parked in the 200 block of South Boulevard the morning of June 1, according to police records.
The suspect reportedly used a brick to smash the Honda Accord’s windshield and driver’s side window. The offender also slashed all four of the vehicle’s tires, according to police records.
The total damage is estimated at $1,900, according to police records.
