Erik L. Sharpe died tragically on Aug. 20, 2026 in Leesburg, Florida. Born in Victorville, California on May 6, 1994, he grew up in the Oak Park-River Forest area.
He was a faithful member of Midwest Buddhist Temple in Chicago.
Erik is survived by his parents, Pauline Sharpe (nee Trilik) & Brian Sharpe and his brother Colin Sharpe, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Erik had many passions, including cooking, learning new things, exploring languages, history, geography, music, and string instruments, just to name a few.
He had plans to travel abroad, exploring his roots in Ireland and Sweden this coming year.
Erik is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
