Edith Rydell Kause, 100, of Oak Park, daughter of Swedish immigrants Henry and Esther Rydell, died on March 2, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Kause; her daughter, Jean C. Harris; and her siblings, Arthur Rydell, Ted Rydell, and Florence Graetz. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Terry), Henry, and Esther Weasenforth; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on March 6 at Peterson-Bassi Chapels, 6938 W. North Ave., Chicago. The funeral ceremony was held on March 7 at the same location.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
