Oak Park Township is accepting applications for positions on the Community Mental Health Board (CMHB), a branch of Township government. The mission of the CMHB is “to enhance the mental health and developmental potential of Oak Park residents, establish an appropriate continuum of community support services, and manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner.” The CMHB distributes over 1.5 million property-tax dollars annually to local mental health agencies.

The Township encourages applications from professionals and other Oak Park residents with an interest in the quality, availability, and funding of mental health services. The commitment is monthly meetings over a four-year term. Applicants will interview with Township officials and CMHB members the week of November 27.  Applications are available at www.oakparktownship.org, the Township offices at 105 S Oak Park Avenue, or by calling 383-8005. Submission deadline is Monday, November 27, at the office or toAngela at ahill@oakparktownship.org
