We all owe a big thank you to both communities for the excellent job they did clearing the roads during the historic snowfall on Feb. 1 and Feb. 2. I had an emergency and had to travel from River Forest all the way to Harrison Street via Chicago and Oak Park avenues, back and forth, at 9 p.m., 12 a.m., 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. The streets were passable the entire time and the plows were working constantly to keep up with the blizzard conditions.
Thank you,
Tony Ruggiero
