The Cheney Mansion and the Park District of Oak Park would like to thank our many kindhearted “Breakfast, Lunch and Tea with Santa” guests who donated items for our annual toy drive. Your generosity resulted in the collection of 99 new toys and books, which were most gratefully accepted by Sarah’s Inn and Christmas Cheer. Also, for those who attended Cheney’s “Holiday Open House” and brought food items for the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry, we are pleased to report that your thoughtfulness resulted in a donation of 11 bags of food and $27 in cash donations.
