The varsity Fenwick swim meet against Loyola was cancelled on Friday, but the lower level hosted the Dan O’Brien freshman/sophomore Relay Meet on Saturday.

The Friars finished fourth overall (145), with Naperville North (186), OPRF (181) and Loyola (174) taking first through third, respectively.

Fenwick’s Ryan Masi, Chris Ray, Michael Hill and Jon Pyzdrowski won the freshman 200 medley relay in 1:57.82. Hill, Pyzdrowski, Colin Daly, and Masi took first in the frosh 200 free relay in 1:40.38. Connor Fabian, Daly, Ray, and David Durkin won the 200 breaststroke relay in 2:09.41.

Fenwick’s varsity squad travels to New Trier on Saturday before prepping for the Metro Catholic Aquatics Conference Meet.

“I am looking forward to a strong championship season, we have a great group of swimmers who have put in a tremendous amount of work and are destined to swim best times at the end of the season,” said Fenwick head coach Luke McGuire.
