Ending months of speculation, David Beckham made it official two weeks ago. By joining the L.A. Galaxy, Beckham is now seen as the savior of Major League Soccer, and with it, hope for continued soccer growth in the U.S. At least, that’s the buzz in the U.S. soccer community, who are often referred to by anti-soccer pundits as “soccernistas.”
