Early voting for the for the March 20 primary starts on Monday, with Oak Park Village Hall as one of the polling places.
Voters in Oak Park and River Forest will have the chance to choose a Republican presidential candidate, along with U.S. congressman, clerk of the circuit court, state rep in the 7th District, and several judge positions in the Supreme and appellate courts on the Democratic side.
Other candidates — such as state Rep. La Shawn Ford, State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez, and state Sen. Kimberly Lightford — are unopposed in the primary.
Voters can visit one of 42 suburban locations in Cook County, including Oak Park Village Hall, 123 Madison, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Early voting runs up until March 15.
