The League of Women Voters of Oak Park / River Forest hosted the 2015 State of the Villages Evening at Elmcrest Banquets on Friday, March 6th. Guests were treated to an old-fashioned radio show performance showcasing an historical viewpoint of women’s right to vote. Wednesday Journal publisher Dan Haley moderated a panel of Cathy Adduci (President, Village of River Forest), Anan Abu-Taleb (President, Village of Oak Park), Tim Gilliam (Village Manager, Forest Park).
