The much needed police station seems to be in the preliminary design process. I don’t know a thing about what it should contain, but I have a suggestion about its exterior. Take a look at the one in Hickory Hills. It looks as if it should be in Oak Park, more than anything our village has built.
I don’t know why our public buildings never pay tribute to Prairie-style architecture that to a large extend had its origins here. Please consider giving it that look.
