We cannot eliminate single-family zoning! Our whole community would be affected negatively. It is already congested with recent apartment/condo units, not to mention all the ones that were already in place. The parking is unattainable and homeowner values would plummet. We are a unique, historic village and ending single-family zoning would go a long way in destroying what makes Oak Park so very special. We do not need to be everything to everyone. I respectively request a referendum to decide this matter.
