After a pair of NASA legends recruited me into the NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador program, to do educational programming, I decided to host a telescope event in Oak Park.
I told myself, “If 25 people show up, that’s a win and I’ll do more.”
Over 200 people showed up.
Ten years and 99 events later, I just want to say Thank You to this community for supporting science. I’m so grateful to you all.
I hope you’ll come to my 100th event, all about Artemis, from 7 to 8 p.m. June 25 in the Veterans Room of the Main Library.
