The solution to the endless lines for airport security is obvious. The Department of Homeland Security has a massive budget ($107.7 billion for 2025). TSA is part of DHS. Why cannot the DHS simply shift salaries from ICE to pay TSA salaries? I feel quite sure that a large majority of Americans would prefer to pay TSA agents who facilitate air travel and defund ICE agents whose skills include creating chaos and slaughtering law-abiding American citizens.
