Thank you to John Duffy for the article on the history of the Jewish community in Oak Park and River Forest [Viewpoints, April 8].
To continue the history, Chabad of Oak Park-River Forest arrived in 2007 and began its programs and services to serve the local Jewish community. In 2023 it purchased its new center on South Boulevard in Oak Park to expand and grow their mission of serving all Jews in Oak Park, River Forest, and surrounding communities, regardless of affiliation or observance (https://www.oakparkjewish.org/).
