On April 5, Congregations Networking for Social Justice is joining a massive coalition of national and local organizations including: Indivisible, Move On, Common Cause, Color of Change and Social Security Works to organize a local response to the Trump-Musk billionaire takeover of our democracy.
We are coming together to say loudly and clearly, “Hands Off!” our Medicaid, Medicare, Public Schools, Public Lands, Libraries, Social Security, VA, Clean Energy, and more!
Our gathering at Scoville Park (Lake Street and Oak Park Avenue) on April 5 from 12-2 p.m. provides an alternative to the large “Hands Off!” rally scheduled at Federal Plaza in Chicago. Make your signs and gather peacefully. As of this writing, 200 have registered.
