Local businesses in Oak Park’s Hemingway District welcome Oak Parkers, neighbors and other friends to celebrate love on Saturday, Feb. 10.
The “Tokens of Love” event will include complementary gifts or discounts at participating businesses as visitors walk through the neighborhood, eat and shop.
A “Family Fun Walk” will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, and an evening walk will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a news release.
The Hemingway District promotes economic growth with meaningful partnerships, according to the release, with the goal of improving quality of life and economic vitality in the area.
The district is named for Ernest Hemingway, an Oak Park native and famous writer.
