Last night I returned from a meeting at Dole Branch Library where, out of approximately 140 people who attended, only two spoke in favor of the proposed mega-complex at Chicago and Ridgeland. The rest made it clear that this building is not welcome here. Being one of those most affected by its most negative aspects, I want to express my gratitude for the demonstration of community support.
