PCC Community Wellness Center is vaccinating patients aged 12+ or anyone who lives in PCC’s service areas including Austin, Belmont Cragin, Bellwood, Berwyn, Cicero, Dunning, Garfield Park, Hermosa, Humbolt Park, Lawndale, Maywood, Melrose Park, Montclare, Oak Park, and West Town.

PCC has all three authorized COVID-19 vaccines: Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen. The Pfizer vaccine is available for people 12 and over. Both Moderna and J&J/Janssen are available for people 18 and over. Vaccines are available at several PCC health centers at no cost. You do not need to have insurance to get the COVID-19 vaccine. When scheduling the appointment, PCC will still collect insurance information (if you have insurance), as some commercial insurance companies may charge a co-pay for vaccine administration, but not for the vaccine itself.

Appointments are required, but walk-ins may be available for PCC patients. For more information, or to schedule your vaccine, please call PCC’s COVID-19 hotline at 773-295-3347, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

PCC is also providing COVID-19 testing to anyone with or without symptoms, regardless of other risk factors or contacts. Testing is available to anyone from PCC’s communities, even if not currently a PCC patient. Same-day testing is available. If you call PCC’s COVID-19 hotline by 12:00 pm, the test can often be done the same day, pending availability. Need a medical home? PCC has 14 health centers and provides primary care and behavioral health care. PCC accepts many health insurance plans, including Medicaid and All Kids. PCC has a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance who qualify. Care is provided to everyone, and no one is denied services if they cannot pay.
