I have known Patty Henek for close to 20 years. Over this time, I have marveled at her tireless commitment to serving our community. The breadth of her community engagement, from president of two PTOs, LemonAid, Holiday Food & Gift Basket Program, A House in Austin, and village trustee is truly admirable. In all of her endeavors, she works to build communities, bringing people together to share goals and ideas. She is organized and does extensive research for thoughtful and informed decision-making. She asks tough questions, and considers what is best in the long run, even when that’s not the popular choice.
I believe Patty will expand on the transparency of the village and represent all of River Forest. Patty has my vote on April 6.
