Between road construction, new delivery times, community fridge plans, and delivery discounts, Carnival Grocery has news to share. The team has been working around the clock to make sure the Oak Park Avenue construction doesn’t get in the way of our customers, so we’ve made a few additions to support the community as much as the community supports our store! Here are some of the new changes:
- DELIVERY: We have TRIPLED the amount of available time slots, and for orders over $100, delivery is now FREE!
- HOURS: We are OPEN! The construction on the 800 block of S. Oak Park Avenue is well underway – and in the way – but that hasn’t stopped us! Our hours have not changed, and we will remain open during regular business hours. Keep an eye out for Carnival signs directing shoppers through construction detours.
- PARKING: The Carnival Parking Lot remains open, but not always accessible from Oak Park Avenue. Cars can also access our lot from Van Buren Street and Harrison Street, and now park for free in the Village Lot #1 behind the store.
- COMMUNITY FRIDGE: Carnival Grocery has partnered with Oak Park Community Fridge, and will be hosting Oak Park’s very first community refrigerator, open to the public March 13th. Customers can donate food to the fridge when they shop, directly helping the problem of food insecurity within our community.
The Carnival Team is so grateful for the community support over the past year, which has been a challenge for us all. We will continue to work as hard as we can to be the store our customers rely on and deserve. We are always listening, so stop in anytime for a visit, and be sure to visit our new website and download the Carnival Grocery App!
