The Oak Park Department of Public Health announced that 114 Oak Park residents tested positive for COVID-19 since Nov. 9. Those who tested positive range in age from “less than 20s to 80s,” according to the village’s announcement. 

Since March 18, 1,215 Oak Parkers have tested positive for coronavirus when the village started reporting its COVID-19 statistics to the public. 

River Forest also saw its highest single-day tally for positive cases with 12 on Nov. 11. There have been 20 new cases in the past two days. 

In Oak Park, one resident, a 92-year-old man who tested positive for COVID-19, died at Belmont Village of Oak Park, which is an assisted living care facility at 1035 Madison St.. It marked the third COVID death among residents at Belmont Village.
