Chris Jasculca has been the consistent and steady voice of Oak Park’s District 97 public elementary schools for a decade. Superintendents and school board members have come and gone, but Jasculca, as communications chief, has been there.
This has been a hard job in a complex and demanding village, in a district facing up to complicated challenges of race and equity, high taxes, and altered methods of communicating. To us, Jasculca has always been available and has been candid in answering tough questions. We respect that and wish him well in his next school communications gig in Hinsdale.
