The wood-fired ovens are in place, the fancy new windows are up and the smell of pizza is almost in the air.
Oak Park’s newest restaurant, Bricks Wood-Fired Pizza Café, 129 N. Oak Park Ave., will begin serving customers on Monday, April 2, according to owner Ric Gruber Jr.
The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. Gruber was elated in his email, announcing the eminent opening.
If Monday is too long to wait, check out the Bricks webpage for more information.
Oak Park Eats and Wednesday Journal will be going in for a deeper investigation early next week – we’re guessing probably around 11 a.m. on Monday – so check back for our full report.
