A memorial service will be held at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Oak Park on Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. for Cheryl Corbin Tartakoff, 73, of Oak Park, who died on Sept. 7, 2017. She was a research dietician at Rockefeller University, director of the MD/PhD program at Case Western University, and the editor at the American Dietetic Association. An avid singer, both solo and choral, in New York, Cleveland, and Oak Park, she was also a volunteer at the Oak Park Conservatory, and a devoted gardener.
