The Oak Park-based Chicagoland Panthers 13U baseball team won the Arlington Heights Turf Showdown on April 12 defeating the Algonquin Storm 3-1. The Panthers finished 4-0 overall and only allowed one run for the tournament. Stellar pitching, error-free defense and solid offense served as the winning formula for the Panthers.
