The Oak Park Teachers Association (OPTA) has endorsed four candidates in the District 97 Board of Education election.
The organization endorsed education policy expert Rupa Datta; education management consultant Jim O’Connor; information security analyst Jay Schulman; and incumbent board president Robert Spatz.
The OPTA conducted endorsement interviews last Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Ten candidates are competing for four open seats on the school board. The election will take place on April 7.
