The District 97 Board of Education Tuesday unanimously approved the new principals for Whittier and Mann elementary schools.
Both candidates, Faith Cole and Keshia Warner, were present and spoke at Tuesday’s board regular meeting. Each thanked the district, staff and parents for the opportunity and expressed excitement about their new jobs.
Cole, who’ll take over at Mann, and Warner, who’ll oversee Whittier, received one-year contracts with base salaries of $108,000 and $120,000 respectively.
