A debate has been brewing on OakPark.com over the past few weeks on whether Chicago police should be allowed to park illegally around the village. Reader Brent Showalter snapped a couple of pics of police cars parked in tow zones in downtown Oak Park, with nary a ticket to be found. Well, just recently, an anonymous tipster spotted this Chicago police vehicle, parked illegally across the street from Lalo’s, with one of those dreaded little orange envelopes on its windshield. Maybe all the angry web comments got someone’s attention.
