Tough choices are ahead as Oak Park’s village government picks between expensive and imperfect options in dealing with repeated flooding of homes in northeast Oak Park. The village may choose to subsidize house-by-house fixes over many years or it may opt for an intense infrastructure upgrade. Either way, we applaud the village for accepting its role in resolving this issue.
