Welcome to the jungle: OPRF's 2010 homecoming had a jungle theme, complete with an 11-foot, 50-pound albino burmese python.J. GEIL/Photo Editor

Last year’s Homecoming at Oak Park and River Forest High School featured snakes and other creatures as part of its “jungle theme.”

This year’s festivities will feature lights, cameras and “movie stars.” Homecoming at OPRF, 201 N. Scoville, will have an “Old Hollywood” theme. Festivities kicked off “Spirit Week” on Monday. Students and staff wore different styles of clothing this week. Thursday is “Hollywood Day,” which encouraged everyone to dress as their favorite celebrity.
