A 76-year-old woman was transported to Loyola Medical Center to be treated for injuries sustained when she was struck while walking in the crosswalk at the corner of Park and Division by a vehicle headed eastbound on Division.
The incident occurred on Aug. 26 at approximately 7:30 a.m. The vehicle driver was ticketed for the incident, but River Forest police said that the victim was possibly at fault. Police said the victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
