The CarefulPeach Boutique, 1024 North Blvd., a French-inspired home goods, jewelry, and gift boutique in Downtown Oak Park, is bringing a bit of Parisian flair to the streets of Oak Park with their annual Bastille Day Fete on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Every year, the French-inspired boutique celebrates all things Francais with a fete fit for the whole family. Guests are invited to enjoy Parisian refreshments while perusing the wares of the shop, which carries a variety of items from home accessories to tabletop and serving pieces, linens, bath and body, jewelry, accessories, stationery, gourmet treats and accoutrements, and more. Live accordion music, beginning at 11:30 a.m., transports guests to balmy days in Paris. For one day only, guests are also invited to take a special 15% off selected merchandise from or pertaining to France, including world-famous bath and body, delicious gourmet treats, artisanal jewelry, stunning serving pieces and dinnerware, and more. Poodles and berets are optional, but strongly recommended.
