OPRF administrators’ plan to close the campus this fall for freshman, sophomores and some portion of juniors and seniors was an inartful compromise as one tool to address drug and alcohol issues on campus.

To us this is a half measure designed to placate both supporters and detractors. It is not genuine leadership, and we think any plan this complex is unlikely to accomplish the goal.
