I would like to thank the thoughtful people who helped us find our beloved dog the week of Thanksgiving. When our relatively new-to-us dog wiggled out of her collar and wandered away, we were heartbroken.
We searched for about an hour. I found a very nice woman who said Roxy started to follow her and her dog, so she left her with some people who had a fenced yard. When I found the house, she was happily playing with some dogs, but came running back to me. It’s nice to know that, at least in our corner of Oak Park, there are people who watch out for each other — human and nonhuman.
Thank you all for taking the time to help a lost dog.
