If the New Haven Police Department votes Frank Limon out, please, come back to Illinois [Connecticut cops don’t like former River Forest police chief, News, Sept. 15]. Our state could use some good leadership.

I guess this just proves that the home of one of the most prestigious universities has no correlation to the intelligence of the people who live there. As a police department employee, it is a requirement that detectives wear suit and tie. The fact that policies had to be put in place to ban females from showing cleavage, and to require employees to attend staff meetings, prove what a poor state the New Haven Police Department is truly in. I feel bad for the city of New Haven and all those who suffer due to their poor leadership.

Oh well, their loss of Frank will be someone else’s gain!
