Oak Park names new finance chief

The Village of Oak Park hired Craig Lesner as its next finance director on Wednesday, Village Manager Tom Barwin said.

Lesner will start his new job in mid-April, replacing Greg Peters, who retired last May. Oak Park brought back Peters and other financiers to develop its 2007 budget.

Lesner now serves as the director of revenue analysis in Chicago’s Office of Budget and Management.
