Andrew Dirgo, a graduate of Oak Park & River Forest High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of Wooster during commencement exercises on May 16.
While at Wooster, Dirgo was a member of the Swing Dance Club, the Club Hockey Team, and the Ultimate Frisbee Club. In addition, he was inducted into Phi Sigma Tau, the national philosophy honor society. He was also named to the Dean’s List.
A political science and philosophy double major; Dirgo is a resident of Oak Park.
The College of Wooster is an independent liberal arts college, nationally recognized for an innovative curriculum that emphasizes mentored, independent research. Each Wooster senior works one-on-one with a faculty adviser to create an original research project, written work, performance, or art exhibit. Founded in 1866, the college has an enrollment of approximately 1,800 students.
