David Davis, assistant principal for Lincoln and Willard elementary schools, has resigned from River Forest District 90 schools to become principal of Kingsley Elementary School in Evanston. He will assume his new post on July 1. D90 has already begun searching for his successor.
“While this advancement represents a great professional move for David, it is also a loss for District 90 and our administrative team. He has become well known in our school district as a valued leader who is energetic and passionate about advancing education for all students,” Superintendent Ed Condon said in a statement.
Davis worked at D90 for two years. Condon said they will look for a replacement “who has a great deal of expertise, a strong background, and shares District 90’s steadfast commitment to excellence and equity.”
