Everyone is invited to a free presentation about these topics and more at 1:30 this Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 20, at the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association, 178 N. Forest Ave. in Oak Park.
I will talk about behind the scenes of the Oak Park film fest, how the festival was formed and what to expect at the Sept. 11-14 festival. Complimentary coffee and tea will be served.

At 7 that evening, board member Timothy Sedalacek will be at the Oak Park River Forest History Museum to talk about the history of movie theaters in Oak Park.
