The season may have ended sooner than the Fenwick High School football team would have liked, but the Friars still received plenty of recognition for their 8-3 record and the Chicago Catholic League/East Suburban Catholic Conference White Division championship, as multiple players were named to the All-CCL/ESCC White Division Team.
Senior DL/WR Nate Marshall won Tony Lawless Player of the Year, named after the late legendary Fenwick coach and athletic director. Marshall, an Auburn University commit, was also named to the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Class 7A All-State Team.
Senior LB Jack Paris was named the CCL/ESCC White Division Defensive Player of the Year.

In addition to the CCL/ESCC White Division honors, senior QB Frankie Hosty was named Chicago Bears High School All-Star for Week 9. Filling in for an injured Williams against Carmel, Oct. 25, after losing his father to cancer that morning, Hosty threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns in Fenwick’s 36-12 victory.
