The village of River Forest sent an email on July15 soliciting public comment regarding the Madison & Ashland development. To what end, just to ignore everyone one more time?! The Development Review Board (DRB) held a four hour meeting last week; three of those hours involved 20+ residents pointing out why the project doesn’t fit and that resident complaints were ignored. Immediately after the residents spoke, the DRB voted unanimously to green-light the project. So … why are they still soliciting public comment?!
