Alan L. Becker DDS of Oak Park, 75, died peacefully on April 23, 2026 at home with his wife at his side. Born on May 12, 1950, he was married to Andrea for almost 56 years. Together they raised four great children, Chad (who died in 2016), Kirk (partner Michelle), Stephanie (Greg) and Blythe (Tyler). He is survived by his grandchildren, Nadia, Ilyana, Jackson, Caroline, Charlotte, Nora, Emmett, Rhett and Phaedra.
After teaching high school and junior college, he went on to become a dentist. He genuinely enjoyed the lab work and getting to know his patients. His interests included jazz, photography, woodworking, gardening and biking. He lived life with kindness and generosity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
