‘Too Close to the Flame’

Insights from Multimedia Artist Joe Fournier

In the lead-up to the Presidential Election, Fournier will share examples of his work and creative process spanning 30 years as a political cartoonist with the Chicago Tribune, covering events from the Clinton administration to the current campaign between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Fournier’s unique visual language seeks to address the divisive social climate. His work has been exhibited at The National Gallery of Art, The Cannes Film Festival, and is included in The Library of Congress.
