Last year, when the future of Wednesday Journal was uncertain, you stepped up. You and your fellow readers helped stabilize our newsroom and gave us the opportunity to fight for a future where truly local journalism could continue serving Oak Park and River Forest. Thank you.

That support carried us through to this moment.

Earlier this year, Wednesday Journal became part of NEWSWELL, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and sustaining community news across the country. That transition positions us for greater long-term stability, but the core truth hasn’t changed: local journalism only survives when communities decide it matters enough to support.
