It’s that time of year to sip, sizzle, and swing at Downtown Oak Park’s (DTOP) annual Jazz Thaw event on Saturday, March 9, from 1 to 10 p.m. and on Sunday, March 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. located in downtown Oak Park. The event will feature free live jazz performances at 14 downtown Oak Park locations, and guests are invited to order from the host restaurant’s menu.
“This is one of my favorite events of the year! And there is truly something for everybody, from straight-ahead jazz, Latin, Brazilian, jazz with vocals, to instrumental jazz. We purposely select bands to present a diverse selection of jazz styles. And it’s free!” said Ken Scott, WDCB’s Director of Marketing & Fundraising.
