As we head into this election season, I hope Oak Park gives strong consideration to Chibuke Eniya (pronounced Chee-bee-kay En-yuh) as trustee for Oak Park. I have been neighbors with Chibuke for over four years and have gotten to know him and his family on a personal level. He has extended his expertise to enhance the community he calls home. He has lived in the community for 30 years, choosing to raise his own children here so they could have the same opportunities.
As a lifelong Oak Parker, to raise your family in the community you were raised in is the biggest compliment anyone can give.
Besides being a valuable resource to community partners and his neighbors, Chibuke and his wife Mandy make an extra effort to devote their time and expertise to the children in the community. It is not uncommon to see Chibuke and Mandy talking to a group of neighborhood children and cooking hotdogs and hamburgers for them. He can be seen around the community extending a helping hand wherever needed and is the kind of person that is doing the right thing when no one is watching.
Chibuke is an outstanding candidate whom I can recommend without reservation. During the time I have known him, he has demonstrated personal and professional skills that make him an asset to the community he serves. He is dependable, ethical, and has a high degree of integrity. In addition, he is an amicable person and a pleasure to work with.
Please give Chibuke Eniya your strong consideration for Oak Park trustee.
