Cathy Adduci, River Forest village president, was unanimously reelected second vice president of the Illinois Municipal League (IML) at the organization’s annual business meeting on Sept. 26. The term is for one year.
Adduci has been on the IML board of directors since 2015 and was originally elected second vice president in 2019.
In a press release from the IML, Adduci said, “I am excited to continue my work with mayors from across the state. … I am proud of the work IML completed over the past year and look forward to continue using my role for the benefit of River Forest and all of the 1,298 cities, village and towns in Illinois.”
The IML, founded in 1913, is a statewide organization representing communities throughout Illinois with the goal of “promoting competence and integrity in administration of municipal government.”
