John Travers Hutzenlaub, 67, died peacefully on Nov. 15, 2017 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was the son of John and Lillian Hutzenlaub, graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and was an associate member of the Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Association.
John Hutzenlaub is survived by Mary, his wife of 41 years; his daughters, Amy (Brian) Dwyer and Casey; his sister, Carla Harwood; and his grandchildren, Emma and Mollie.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Mattone Restaurant and Bar in LaGrange Park from noon till 3 p.m.
