On Monday, May 28 at 9am, come to the Annual Oak Park Memorial Day Commemoration in Scoville Park, Oak Park Avenue and Lake Street.  To honor the 150th anniversay of the Civil War, U.S. Arrmy Veteran, Brian Flora, who served in Vietnam from 1969 – 1972 and his wife, Kay Kuhlman will represent an Oak Park Union soldier who fought at Shiloh.  A color guard and a gun salute will be held in honor and rememberance.

On a much lighter “note”, sample the attached video and then come back to the park on Tuesday, May 29 at 6pm for the OPRFHS Jazz Concert.  You’re invited to bring your blankets, picnic food, and hear some very talented musicians.  Note, that this concert is Free except if weather causes a problem and then it will be moved to the high school.  If so, tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
